“My daughter is a first grader of elementary school. One day, I heard that she did not use any textbooks or notebooks in almost all classes. Her teacher asked her, ‘Did you forget them?’ She answered ‘No. I didn’t bring them because I don’t need them. I have memorized all contents of the textbooks, so I can recall what I need. And, what I want to say just floats in front of me automatically.’
I was so embarrassed about her bad attitude toward classes and apologized to her teacher for that, but he kindly said, ‘How nice of her to love memorization.’
In addition, he said, ‘I don’t know why, but when I see her, I feel that my heart is getting warm’ and praised her as a wonderful girl with a rich spirit.
There are many people who wonder early childhood education, but I think I didn’t practice it if I had to cram knowledge or force a crying child to study. However, the
Shichida Method is different from such kind of education. She enjoyed every activity and felt comfortable with it. I did not ask for her results, but just enjoyed various kinds of things with her.”
